Description: The Princess Amira combines a modern decor with traditional style and is ideal for a relaxed cruise in a friendly atmosphere.
Accommodation: The ship has 67 cabins, the majority of which have twin beds although double bedded cabins are also available. There are also single cabins, all cabins have picture windows with Nile view and are fully air conditioned.
The cabins have private bathroom, colour TV, Video, Radio and Music.
The cabins have an internal telephone system and room servce is avaialble on request.
General Facilities: The ship has a reception desk which is open all day to deal with any customer needs. The is a safe deposit. There is also a gift shop, laundry and dry cleaning.
There are two bars and the air conditioned lounge bar is the meeting place for guest especially thoses who want to relax in comfort before their meal. In the later evening there is a disco in the bar.
The restaurant can seat all guest at one seating. The second bar is on the sun deck with covered seating area, and large sun bathing area and swimming pool. This is the place to view the sights whilst cruising. The ship has a meeting/conference room for those requiring this facility.
Additional Information: The order of the itineraries maybe amended as a result of low water levels, adverse weather conditions, lock closure or other unforeseen circumstances. Moorings at night are usually alongside other cruise vessels which may affect views from your cabin and sightseeing, when possible is organised to avoid the heat of the midday sun. When mooring sometimes diesel fumes can be evident. You will be escorted by an English speaking Egyptologist at all times during the tours and excursions. All river cruises itinerary can be amended in sequence due to navigational circumstances but the above points of visit will not change.
Note: When joining a Nile cruise you are joining a cruise with an international client mix as the cruise will be accepting clients of many nationalities.
Entry Requirements: On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is £15 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitor’s visa is a requirement.
note: For travel to most countries, a British passport must remain valid for at least 6 months after your scheduled return to the UK.
