Description: M/S Nile Dolphin is a brand new 5-star deluxe floating hotel cruising on the Nile between Luxor and Aswan. Cruises commenced in February 2007.
Accommodation: All cabins have large, panorama windows that can be opened — so you can enjoy the view of the Nile, the palms and the desert... even from your bed.
The cabins have mahogany furniture with brass art decorations in the Empire style, mini bar, satellite TV, a music and video system, mini-safe. All cabins have en-suite bathrooms with marble floors and wall decorations, full glass shower cabins with jet panels, toiletries, hairdryer, and loudspeaker so you can watch TV or listen to music even when showering. Suites have their own terrace. All cabins are airconditioned with individual controls. Our room service is proof that we value our guests every minute
General Facilities: The Nile Dolphin gives you elegance and class, a touch of history through its interior with all the comfort and technical facilities of a modern hotel, to serve you at European 5-star level. The Nile Dolphin is decorated in the French Empire style, simplified to satisfy contemporary taste. The floating hotel has 63 double/twin cabins and 2 suites, restaurant, panorama lounge, bars, ‘silent area’ adjacent to lounge with panorama terrace, sun deck with pool, Jacuzzi and bar, business centre with internet access, boutique, gift shop.
The Nile Dolphin provides accommodation for both tourists and incentive business tours. Just enjoy our cuisine, enjoy the sun on the sun deck where the most fashionable cocktails and drinks are served. You can burn off those calories in our air-conditioned gym with direct access to the pool on the sun deck.
Additional Information: The order of the itineraries maybe amended as a result of low water levels, adverse weather conditions, lock closure or other unforeseen circumstances. Moorings at night are usually alongside other cruise vessels which may affect views from your cabin and sightseeing, when possible is organised to avoid the heat of the midday sun. When mooring sometimes diesel fumes can be evident.
You will be escorted by an English speaking Egyptologist at all times during the tours and excursions. All river cruises itinerary can be amended in sequence due to navigational circumstances but the above points of visit will not change.
Note: When joining a Nile cruise you are joining a cruise with an international client mix as the cruise will be accepting clients of many nationalities.
Entry Requirements: On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is £15 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitor’s visa is a requirement.
note: For travel to most countries, a British passport must remain valid for at least 6 months after your scheduled return to the UK.
